2022 Paediatric Masterclass for General Practice - Abdominal Pain & Functional Somatic Symptoms
Session 2/4 of the Paediatrics Masterclass series delivered in partnership with the Queensland Children's Hospital.

10-15% of children have functional abdominal pain at some point. Similarly, Functional Somatic symptoms are common in children with psychological distress. These groups can be challenging to assess and manage, particularly in striking a balance between investigation for tissue damaging contributors to symptoms and making a diagnosis of a functional disorder to facilitate treatment. This interactive session brings an expert panel together to help you optimise your approach.

This content is approved for 3 CPD points for the 2020-2022 triennium.
