Everything rural GP
If you’re a medical student or a junior doctor, join us on Wednesday 2 December 2020 at 7pm (AEST) as we ask everything rural GP.

This webinar will cover everything you'd like to know about rural general practice that you haven't been able to ask. Do you have a burning question about what a rural GP career looks like or maybe you'd like to know what it's like to live and work in a rural or remote community?

Whatever it is, we'll put your questions directly to rural GPs from around Australia to get the real answers. Please send in your question when you register or email rural@racgp.org.au.

Our panel includes:

Dr Catherine Pendrey: a Remote General Practitioner in the Northern Territory and the NT Representative on the RACGP General Practitioners in Training Faculty Council as well as a member of the SA/NT Faculty Council.

Dr Damian Hannon: A rural GP registrar currently located in Moe, Victoria. Born in Ireland, he completed his medical degree and intern and residency training in Belfast before emigrating to Australia in August 2015.

Dr Emma Thompson: 2020 RACGP Rural GP in Training of the Year working in rural New South Wales along the South Coast. Emma is a Rural Generalist GP regisistrar and a GP Visiting Medical Officer in the local hospital.
