Dr Salvatore (Sam) Catania
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist @Queensland Children's Hospital
Dr Salvatore (Sam) Catania is the Medical Director of the Eating Disorders Program CHQ. He has been involved in the field of eating disorders for 15 years and is an accredited FBT supervisor. Dr Catania has also been a co-director of a private practice, Northside Child and Youth Psychiatry since 2014.
Dr Penelope Prasad
Senior Staff Specialist & Acting Director of Paediatrics @Hervey Bay Hospital
Associate Professor Penelope Prasad is a senior staff specialist and the Acting Director of Paediatrics at Hervey Bay Hospital. She also holds the position of Director of the University of Queensland’s Regional Training Hub Wide Bay.
Dr Mark McGrath
General Practitioner
Dr. Mark McGrath is a Brisbane GP experienced in all fields of general practice and has a special interest in eating disorders. He is a certified eating disorders specialist with The International Association Of Eating Disorders Professionals and provides medical monitoring and coordination of care of all eating disorders including addressing weight concerns from a HAES perspective. He particularly values his role in providing psycho-education and engaging newly presenting patients to the appropriate care.
Dr Kiera Buchanan
Founding Director @Centre for Integrated Health
Dr. Kiera Buchanan is the founding director of Centre for Integrative Health. Kiera is registered as both a Clinical Psychologist and a Health Psychologist after completing the dual Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology. Kiera recognises that her vision for addressing the current epidemic in eating- and weight-related concerns is one best realised through collaboration and joined efforts.
Dr Aaron Chambers
GP & GP Liaison Officer @Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service
Dr Aaron Chambers has worked in general practice since 2006. He is passionate about family practice, including paediatrics and obstetric care. Dr Chambers is the GP Liaison Officer for Children's Health Queensland, based at Queensland Children's Hospital. In private practice, he consults regularly, and is a healthcare system innovator. Dr Chambers founded Growlife Medical Group, and is a co-founder of Allergy First, Cub Care Paediatric Urgent Care and Telehealth Platform GPConsults.
